Big Bear Lake, Southern California’s only four-season resort, is the proud host of the OWAC Fall 2005 Conference. The Big Bear Lake Resort Association and its 250 members are sponsoring the event, which is scheduled for October 2nd through 4th, 2005.The main conference site will be Northwoods Resort and Conference Center.

Big Bear Lake is a timberland playground located in the San Bernardino National Forest and boasts more than 300 days of sunshine per year. Big Bear Lake officials have already begun planning for the conference with an eye to showcasing Big Bear Valley’s vast array of outdoor recreational activities.

Highlights for OWAC’s Conference include themed recreation packages, including “The Mountain Paradise Package,” “Frontier Adventures,” “Adrenaline,” and “The Mountains: Now and Then.”

Pre-conference trips and post-conference trips are also in the blueprints for the Fall 2005 Conference. These trips are designed to give OWAC members more time to experience Big Bear “in depth.”
