Outdoor Outreach Program

Application for Grant

Since 1986, the objectives of the Outdoor Writers Association of California (OWAC) have been: 1) to provide forums where craft professionals from throughout the state can exchange ideas, experiences and information; 2) to highlight craft improvement and excellence to its members; 3) to focus public attention on the ﬁeld of conservation; 4) to become aware of and participate in outdoor activities available throughout the state, and 5) to provide a liaison with the outdoor industry. Each year OWAC provides funds for California non-proﬁt-outdoor-oriented groups through mini-grants ranging from $250 to $500.
