Traveling Sportsman is a new high-end, first-class publication that covers fishing, hunting and travel. We're hard at work laying the groundwork for the first issue and web site. Coverage will include destinations in the U.S. and mostly the rest of the world for freshwater and saltwater fishing (fly, spin, plug, reef, deep-sea) and all styles of hunting. While fishing and/or hunting represents the centerpiece of each feature, travel aspects must be included such as local culture, recommended hotels and restaurants, sightseeing, shopping, local customs regulations of note and other info of interest to the traveling sportsman. Our pay rate for manuscripts and images is among the highest in the industry, and we pay on acceptance (not after publication). Traveling Sportsman will be quarterly in its first year.
