TROUTSTOCK EASTERN SIERRA 2008 RETURNS ON LABOR DAY WEEKEND

Troutstock Eastern Sierra will be returning for a fourth season next Labor Day Weekend, August 28 - September 1, 2008.  Troutstock is the premier festival of all things trout held throughout Mono County featuring the Million Dollar Derby, $10,000 in cash prizes, Kidstock, Troutstock University, live entertainment and many family friendly activities.  Event proceeds benefit fish stocking programs in Mono County.

New for Troutstock Eastern Sierra 2008 is the expansion of Troutstock University. This is an educational and informational campaign for fishermen and women of all ages with a special emphasis on kid’s 15 and under.  The program in partnership with Mono County Fisheries Commission was well received last year, and for 2008 will include more Troutstock University components.

Troutstock Eastern Sierra 2008 information regarding competition details, prizes, participating lakes, on-line registration will be available at www.troutstock.com prior to the fishing opener on Saturday, April 19, 2008.
