Troutstock '08 — Guaranteed Cash and Guaranteed a Good Time!

Producers of the fourth annual Troustock Festival in Mammoth Lakes have announced the tentative schedule of events for this year's Festival of All Things Trout. Although the event centers around a tagged trout competition, other things visitors and participants can enjoy are: the Kids Trout Pond; Trout Cooking Demonstrations; Fishing Educational Games; Free Fly Casting Lessons, Live Entertainment, Labor Day Festival of the Arts, Free Trolley Rides; and tons of great prizes. Most events and activities are free and family friendly.

Activities take place in and around Mammoth Lakes, CA from Thursday, August 28th until Monday, September 1, 2008. The lakes to be included in the tagged trout competition are those in the Mammoth Lakes Basin, June Lakes, and Convict Lake. Tagged trout will be stocked in participating lakes, and prize packages ranging from $200 to $2,000 value will be waiting for those who catch them. Also guaranteed is $10,000 in CASH prizes which will be split among a male, female, and child participating in the competition.
